School Loans Deferred

school loans deferred

Stressed and rambling?

I am 31 weeks with a boy.
I am so stressed. I am currently living with my mom (I moved back in with her 2 months ago to save some money).
I haven't saved a penny yet. :( SO MANY BILLS.
I was just talking to my boyfriend (father of my baby - he also moved back in with his parents to save money - before we were living together) telling him how worried I am about money.
I mentioned out stress and thinking out loud that we should give the baby up for adoption. He said that I should just leave the baby with him and I would make a horrible mother anyway. (he also was getting really stressed out on what I was talking about)
I didn't really mean that I wanted to give him up - I am just afraid we wont be able to provide for him.

I don't really have a question - I'm sorry.
Have you said or thought anything you didn't really mean?

Also - anyone know how to get school loans deferred due to caring for an infant.
Thank you! All of you!

Most people have said or thought something that they didn't mean.

And you aren't alone in your fears. I think most new mothers are terrified that they will not be able to care for their child.

I'm sorry that he said that you would make a horrible mother. I'm not sure how you are going to be able to ever get past him saying that. It was a very cruel thing for him to say.

Is there anyone that you can talk to about how you are feeling? Your mother? Your friends? Anyone? It sounds like you are experiencing depression, which can happen during pregnancy, especially if you are stressed out. Make sure that your doctor knows how you are feeling. You don't want to end up another woman with postpartum depression that thinks it is all her fault when it isn't.

As for the school loan issue ... I don't think there is any way that you can defer them. They are pretty hard to work around, but they are written that way so that people can't default on them.

Good luck to you.
